‘Wendy’: A proatcive structure with sustainable functions. A cool structure with a cool name, Wendy is supposed to be a structure of multiple programs, to be built by the New York HWNK base. There will be a structure external to the institution of PS1 MoMA in Long Island City, Queens, as a temporary facility. What sets Wendy several similar facilities is its “proactive” in nature. This means it is not just another ecological preservation of the structure is the result of coercion, but a truly beautiful and futuristic innovation that uses high-tech materials integrated with sustainable features.
Structures like this tend to create spaces that use sustainable technology, but rather as a neighborhood of Wendy, and not a space. Designed to cover a total area of 5000 square feet, extend in the form of a herringbone structure.
Now on Wendy’s most comprehensive, all of which is made of nylon fabric, which would be treated with nano particles of titanium dioxide spray. This spray helps to neutralize the impact of air pollutants. The mechanism for this is simple. Nano particles of titanium dioxide mantle tissue when exposed to sunlight leads to a catalytic reaction, to neutralize the nitrogen oxides. The maximum amount for cleaning the air, the design of the structure is amplified with a larger area. In fact, you can clean the air equivalent to 260 cars off the road.
The spiky structure is more of an environment than a space.
Also to keep cool during the summers, bristling arms are designed to travel outside fresh air, and spray showers. To be more active, which was accentuated with tools such as wind, rain, shadow, and, surprisingly, even the music. Imagine walking through the courtyard in summer, cold fog enveloped in their favorite music.
