It took eight years to construct the house in the Belgian town of Linkebeek. The design of the house are responsible architects from the company Samyn and Partners.
The whole thing is so-called tour de force, that is, using the Polish task requiring a very large effort and work. The exterior was covered with grass, plants, and ivy. All species of plants drew a botanist Patrick Blanc.
The end result of this work is simply amazing. All exterior walls covered with plants in the truest combination of protruding from the windows make the house having no equal.
At the technical level, it is worth noting that the outer facade of the plants cover the floorboards, which mounted a special irrigation system. In the middle of the house is moving towards minimalism. Through this we have here chosen colors sparingly, and furniture. In conclusion, the Garden House in Linkebeek is more than just a house, a work of art.
